About Our School

Welcome to Cheviot Hills High School

Dear Cheviot Hills High School Parents and Students,

Summer break is ending, and school starts on August 15, 2022.  Your teachers will return on Friday, August 12, 2022.

This year your student can come to school without needing to have COVID vaccinations, a daily pass, or a test.  If you and your child feel healthy, you can come into our classrooms. Masks are still strongly encouraged and will be worn by members of our school community.

Students may come to pick up their schedules beginning Wednesday, August 10-Friday, August 12, 2022, from 8:00 am -4:00 pm. Every student will be given two antigen tests to take before returning to school.  If your child is COVID positive, then he/she MUST remain home.

If you are a new enrollee you will be given an antigen test for your child.  When your child comes in for their first day of school, your child MUST have taken the test and remain negative before starting class.
Once you have done this one test and it is negative, you can come to the classroom without testing so long as you feel healthy.  If you feel sick, stay home, and get tested.  We will have tests at the main office and in all our classrooms for pick up.

Here are the vaccination rules.  We do not care about your child's COVID vaccination status. Your child can attend in person with or without the COVID vaccination.  For all other vaccinations, such as MMR, or TDAP, your child must have these vaccinations to attend in person.  If not,  he/she will be offered a virtual opportunity.

Please remember Cheviot Hills High School offers in-person so long as they have all the other vaccinations.
Cheviot High School is excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to seeing your son or daughter on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Educationally yours,
Dr. Linda Moore, Principal
